We’re back!

After a much needed break, Bruuuce.com is back in business, ready to roll, and other cunning alliterative confirmatory statements.

My thanks to all those who enquired after me… things are getting back on track, so expect to see more additions to the site soon. Long story short, by way of explanation… I’ve been busy finalising a charity project, also with the Strike Three CD which is coming to you soon, and recovering from some poor health. With those now addressed (in reverse order!), you’ll be hearing a lot more from this site in the coming months!

The Daily Doses remain quietly retired for now, in keeping with Bruce’s taping policy - but there will be the occasional treat on here that you’ve never seen or heard before. Take that as a strong hint that something is heading your way soon!

JV’s diaries

These are not something you’ll ever want to miss… for the last few years, Bruce’s bass player J.V. Collier has kept a diary of his escapades on tour. Some random quotes:

“Bruce is trying to talk Sonny and I into wearing a pair of his grandfather’s golf pants.”

“I am in tears and Bruce is on the other end of the line howling.”

“Right at the time I was supposed to come in, I took a deep breath and in flew a big juicy bug:-( I freaked out and messed up the intro.”

DDD4 - final amount raised

The final total raised for Daily Dose Day 4 was…

All throughout Daily Dose Day 4, we kept you updated on the proceeds from Bruuuce.com. We kept something hidden from you throughout, though… the fund total was accurate based on this site, but all through the day, I was updating a sister site with its own contributions!

So, the grand total raised is… $4,000!

That’s by far the biggest total that we’ve ever given to one charity, so again I thank you all so much for your overwhelming generosity. The “Merlin” appeal for multiple sclerosis care have once again benefited hugely from you all.

Thanks for making the day so memorable, and again for donating so willingly.
